The Heart Behind Sunstate Studio LLC

Hey, I'm Kaylee

I’m a Florida native, born and raised in Pinellas County, and proud of every bit of it. I graduated from Largo High School, spent years figuring out my path (including running my own cleaning business from 19 to 22), and eventually found my way back to what I was always meant to do: build things.

When my son was born, everything shifted. I knew I wanted to do something that let me be present for my family while still building something of my own. I started researching, found web design, and never looked back. Within six months of starting my program at Pinellas Technical College, I won first place at the 2025 national SkillsUSA competition in Web Design & Development, besting gold medal winners from state competitions across the country.

Sunstate Studio LLC is the business I built around the life I want to live. The name says it all — we live the Sunstate state of mind here. I’m a happy person, a proud Floridian, and someone who genuinely loves helping people bring their vision to life. I grew up on the beach and around the springs, and that warmth and energy is baked into everything I create.

When I’m not designing, I’m baking cakes for the people I love, camping with my family, paddleboarding, or chasing my boys around with our cat Charlie somewhere in the mix. My hubby and I have built a really good life in Holiday, Florida. Sunstate Studio LLC is part of what makes it possible.

I started this studio because I love making connections and I’ve always been the person who shows up for the people around her. Now I get to channel that into helping small businesses show up online — with websites, brands, and social media that actually represent who they are.

If that sounds like something your business needs, I’d love to talk.
